Whats your name

Lauren Beauchner

How long have you been doing art for

Since I was a little kid, I have a very encouraging creative family. But I only really started being serious about it in high school when I learned to work with oil paints.

How old are you

25

Where you from

Allentown, PA

What kind of art do you do

Figurative oil paintings and ink drawings.

Which one do you do the most

Both, pretty much equally

Why do you do that type of art the most

Most of my ink drawings are for commission work or projects like zines or event fliers. I do take commissions for works in oils, but most of my paintings are for my own body of work.

Have you been in any gallery’s recently

On Friday I was at the Bethlehem House Contemporary Art Gallery for the Summer Show Opening which I have paintings in until October.

Any big projects happening

Lehigh Valley Zine Fest is my biggest project right now because it’s a month away & pretty much all I’m thinking about these days. This year is looking to be double the size of last year’s fest so it’s a lot of work!

Have any shameless plugs you want to give
